About Ronnie Beals

Originally from Halifax, N.S. Ronnie arrived in Toronto with his Band in 1989 and performed shows around the Toronto, Ontario Rock Music Scene. He attended Harris Institute for the Arts as a member of the Production/Engineering Program. After completing his studies and performing and recording with various Toronto Bands, Ronnie relocated to Bogota, Colombia working as a pro musician, engineer and music technology educator at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He performed extensively on live stages including multiple gigs at Colombia's famous Rock al Parque Festival for thousands of Latin Rock fans. Ronnie shared the writing and producing duties with his band Canal Sur recording an album for Sony Music Colombia of which members would later go on to win Latin Grammys. In 2000, Ronnie returned to Toronto, Canada and returned to performing and recording music in the GTA, including producing an album with his band ITSJUSTSMITH which gained Radio airplay charting across Canada. He continues to work with bands in the GTA area and write and record new music at his recording studio. The Year 2025 welcomes the arrival of Yachty Rockers to the stage and Ronnie and the guys are excited to bring this amazing music to fans.
