About Mike Stevenson

Mike started out in Europe's smaller venues developing his repertoire, working on his skills, and gaining valuable experience. He then joined The Thinline R&B revue and then Clarksdale with Sam Carothers (The Allman Brothers, Ronnie Hawkins) and Rob Quail (The Jeff Healey Band) - returning to Europe with world-class Ray Charles tribute artist Frank Rondell. Reviewing Clarksdale, T.O. Nite's John Grant wrote "Mike Stevenson's devastating barrel house left hand and high register work is truly captivating". Mike plays private and special events, festivals, college pub nights, dueling piano shows, and also tours with ABBA Revisited. He is extremely proud of the Canadian music scene and is grateful to all of its supporters and its many talented performers.
